The Big AI Mistake
What if playing it safe meant missing out on the biggest opportunity of your lifetime?
That’s the mistake many companies are making in the AI race.
They’re sticking with old partners and small investments, hoping it will be enough.
But AI is moving too fast for that.
If you don’t adapt, you’ll get left behind.
Here’s what successful AI leaders are doing differently:
Nvidia’s bold move: They bet big on AI, becoming a $2.63 trillion giant.
World Wide Technology’s strategy: CEO Jim Kavanaugh invests $500 million in AI labs and retraining staff.
Key lesson: They aren’t afraid to reinvent themselves for AI.
The takeaway?
You can’t tiptoe into the AI future.

Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei wants you to know he’s not an AI “doomer.”
“[This AI] can engage in any actions, communications, or remote operations … including taking actions on the internet, taking or giving directions to humans, ordering materials, directing experiments, watching videos, making videos, and so on,” Amodei writes.
“It does not have a physical embodiment (other than living on a computer screen), but it can control existing physical tools, robots, or laboratory equipment through a computer; in theory it could even design robots or equipment for itself to use.” He adds.
The new artificial intelligence enhancements for healthcare promise to unlock conversational data for clinical insights, support app development, reporting, imaging, and other use cases, and enhance trustworthiness through clinical validation.
Nvidia (NVDA) is among the largest companies in the world, valued at a market cap of over $3.3 trillion. In the last 10 years, the chip designer has returned an astonishing 27,496% to shareholders.
The stock has surged over 1,000% in the last two years alone, as it is at the epicentre of the artificial intelligence (AI) megatrend.
Social media platform TikTok said it will slash 100s of jobs, with a significant number of employees in Malaysia expected to be affected as the company shifts to AI-assisted content moderation. Less than 500 jobs in Malaysia are expected to be affected by the move.
