Google’s New AI Browser Assistant.

Google’s Project Jarvis is an AI assistant that’s about to make web browsing hands-free.

Imagine clicking less and getting more done.

Here’s what we know so far:

  • Purpose: Jarvis is designed to handle web tasks automatically within Chrome, like research, shopping, and booking.

  • Power Source: It’s fueled by Google’s next-gen Gemini AI model, allowing it to interpret, click, and type on web pages.

  • Competitors: Tech giants like Microsoft and Apple are also working on “do-it-for-you” AIs, signalling a shift in how we browse.

  • Release Timeline: Google may reveal Jarvis as early as December, with initial tests for a small group.

This article is about Jensen Huang's interview process. What does he actually do when hiring someone for Nvidia?

"I think that the interview process is not an excellent way to judge whether somebody is a good fit," Huang said

"My method is always I go back to reference checks and I ask them the questions that I was going to ask the candidate," Huang said. "And the reason for that is you could always make for a great moment, but it's hard for you to run away from your past."

When Matt Garman took over as CEO of Amazon Web Services in June, one challenge stood out.

He is now responsible for directing the efforts of the cloud services business—the main driver of Amazon.com’s profits—to harness artificial intelligence's potential for its customers.

In doing so, he has to compete with powerful rivals like Microsoft and Google parent Alphabet.

It was recently reported that OpenAI's Orion AI model would be launched by December this year. However, OpenAI has now confirmed that it won’t be releasing an Orion model this year. It could still unveil another model before the year ends.

AI is assisting brands in avoiding risky influencer partnerships by analysing influencer content, reputation, and past behaviours to flag potential controversies. This proactive approach aims to protect brand integrity.
