Starting next month, they’re launching autonomous AI agents within Copilot Studio.

These go beyond simple chatbots to smart, self-running assistants.

At its AI Tour in London, Microsoft showed how companies like McKinsey are already using these agents to save time.

Key highlights from the event:

  • Automates tasks like scanning emails and sorting data.

  • New agents will be added to Dynamics 365 for sales, finance, and supply chain.

But there’s competition:

  • Salesforce recently launched its own AI platform, Agentforce.

  • Their CEO claims Microsoft’s AI needs better integration with customer data.

Meanwhile, Microsoft has scored a five-year deal with the UK government.

With over 35K followers on X, Phuc is an independent software product builder and seller.

In his recent tweet, he said: “I’m not sure about it, but it seems like whoever is meta ads expert and can build AI wrappers quickly can make $$$ very fast.

I’ve seen a lot of ads of ChatGPT clones, the ads tailored to specific audiences, made to overwhelm non-tech users with lots of features & benefits.

I’m a developer, and I know right away that either it isn’t true or you can easily do it within ChatGPT; many of my non-tech friends just don’t know it.”

87% of employees in organisations without official AI adoption are personally using AI tools, such as generative AI platforms like ChatGPT.

This high level of personal engagement suggests that employees recognise the value of AI for enhancing efficiency and productivity in their daily tasks.

According to sources familiar with the matter, Nvidia has shown interest in partnering with India to develop a semiconductor chip.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang made the proposal during a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier this year.

The collaboration would capitalise on India's outstanding semiconductor design talents while contributing to meeting the country's growing tech needs.

Artificial intelligence startup Anthropic is releasing a new tool that can understand what’s happening on a user’s computer screen and complete a range of online tasks for them.

This is the latest example of tech companies expanding from chatbots that offer pithy responses to so-called AI agents that can act on a person’s behalf.
