Spotify, the music and podcast giant, has teamed up with ElevenLabs to bring AI-narrated audiobooks to its platform, making storytelling smarter.

Spotify now allows authors to upload audiobooks narrated by ElevenLabs’ AI, expanding its collection with 29 languages available for narration.

The better the model is at coding and tool use, the better the model is at performing real world tasks
The progress in AI is down to three basic resources; (1) people (experts), (2) data, and (3) infrastructure. Arguably, at this point the US is only ahead in (3). Also, at this point the Chinese open source models are ahead. Not only DeepSeek but also Qwen. This is a fact.
