Nvidia customers are reportedly being warned of 15%+ price hikes on some AI servers shipping next year.
The main reason is rising memory costs, which are pushing up the price of Vera Rubin and Grace Blackwell systems.
Big players like Microsoft, Google, and Oracle can take the hit. Smaller AI companies will feel it much more.
Anthropic still leads OpenAI among Ramp’s U.S. business customers, with roughly 44% share versus 40%.
But OpenAI is growing faster this quarter, suggesting the gap may not be as secure as it looked.
Businesses seem willing to switch AI providers quickly when models, pricing, or privacy terms change.
That makes enterprise AI look less sticky than traditional SaaS, which could be a problem for anyone betting on long-term lock-in.
Starcloud raised another $250 million at a $2.3 billion valuation to build AI computing infrastructure in space.
Nvidia joined the round with $25 million, while Starcloud already has an H100 GPU operating in orbit.
The bigger challenge is launch capacity, because the model only works if rockets become cheap and available at scale.
