• Merge Labs is building non invasive brain interfaces using molecules and ultrasound instead of surgical implants.

• OpenAI says brain interfaces could become a natural way for humans to interact directly with AI systems.

• The deal creates a feedback loop where OpenAI funds a company that could increase usage of OpenAI’s own software.
