OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, just removed its infamous "orange flag" warnings that used to pop up for sensitive topics.
🚨 Breaking News:
Now, ChatGPT will no longer show vague warnings about potential violations, but it still won’t answer harmful or misleading questions.
⚡ Wire Simplified –
ChatGPT no longer gives random warnings when answering certain questions.
OpenAI says this makes the chatbot feel less "censored."
Some users think it’s a win for free speech, while others worry about misinformation.
The chatbot will still refuse harmful or blatantly false queries.
OpenAI insists that its core policies remain unchanged.
✔️ Straight to the Point –
OpenAI removed annoying warnings to make ChatGPT feel more open—but it’s still not a free-for-all AI playground.

Elon Musk and a group of investors offered a jaw-dropping $97.4 billion to buy OpenAI, but CEO Sam Altman isn’t interested.
🚨 Breaking News:
Musk says he’ll withdraw the bid if OpenAI stays a nonprofit, but Altman thinks it’s all just a legal stunt.
⚡ Wire Simplified –
Musk's investor group (including x.AI) wants to buy OpenAI for $97.4 billion in cash.
Altman dismissed the bid and even joked about buying X for a tenth of the price.
OpenAI’s board hasn’t formally rejected the offer yet (but they probably will).
If OpenAI stays a nonprofit, Musk claims he’ll drop the bid entirely.
The lawsuit continues, with Musk arguing OpenAI’s shift to for-profit status is unfair.
✔️ Straight to the Point –
Musk wants OpenAI but also wants to stop it from going for-profit. Altman sees it as a messy legal distraction.

Google’s AI chatbot Gemini just got a big upgrade—it can now remember past conversations and recall info you shared earlier!
🚨 Breaking News:
Gemini’s memory recall is now rolling out to English-speaking subscribers of Google One AI Premium, with more languages coming soon.
⚡ Wire Simplified –
Gemini can remember and summarize past chats, saving you from repeating yourself.
It’s available to Google One AI Premium users for $20 a month.
Users can delete, review, or turn off memory in settings.
Google says it won’t use chat history to train AI models.
Other chatbots, like ChatGPT, are also working on better memory features.
✔️ Straight to the Point –

How many of the next generation of company and baby names are picked by an LLM?
I would say at least 80%.
If I were starting a VC fund again today the one thing I would make sure is that I could spend as much time as possible thinking about tech, teams, markets and building very clear and predictive mental models for the current metagame of startups (and my team could do that too)
