Reddit’s not amused… sues AI startup Anthropic for allegedly stealing its content without paying. Drama in the data world begins.
🚨 Breaking News:
Reddit claims Anthropic trained its AI on Reddit posts without a license, and is now suing them for scraping and profiting unfairly.
⚡ Wire Simplified:
Reddit says Anthropic used their posts to train Claude (AI chatbot) without permission.
Anthropic allegedly ignored Reddit’s "robots.txt" rules (basically: “Don’t enter” signs for bots).
Meanwhile, Reddit has paid deals with OpenAI and Google.
Sam Altman (OpenAI CEO) owns part of Reddit. Awkward.
Reddit wants cash, respect, and for Anthropic to stop using their stuff.
✔️ Straight to the Point:
Reddit just sent a loud message to AI startups: Pay up or get sued. The era of “free internet data buffet” might be over.

Turns out you can copy-paste a LinkedIn profile into an AI model and generate a well-formatted pdf of a resumé using Latex.
Bonus: add a job description to tailor your resume to that job.
