Apple Might Ditch Its Own AI for Siri 🤯

• Bloomberg says Apple’s quietly testing OpenAI and Anthropic models to power Siri. Not just plug-ins... the core brain.

• Meanwhile, Apple’s still building “LLM Siri” in-house. But the rollout got delayed to 2026.

• Apple asked OpenAI and Anthropic to retrain their models on Apple’s own cloud. That’s not integration. That’s Apple trying to rent AGI and wrap it in a turtleneck.

• Siri already leans on ChatGPT for hard stuff. This would go full brain transplant.

• Piano model is strongest. Tabs and full-band arrangements coming soon.

• You have to “confirm rights” to transcribe songs... but nobody’s checking.

Meta Creates “Superintelligence Labs” (Yes, Really) 🧠

• Zuck folded all AI teams into one mega-unit: Meta Superintelligence Labs.

• Alexandr Wang (ex-Scale AI) is Chief AI Officer. Nat Friedman (ex-GitHub) runs product and research.

• This comes right after Meta dropped $14.3B into Scale AI. They also quietly hired 11+ researchers from DeepMind, Anthropic, and more.

• Feels less like a product roadmap, more like Meta assembling its own OpenAI.

Google Gemini Is Coming for Classrooms 🏫📲

• Google just dropped 30+ AI tools for teachers and students at ISTE.

• There’s now a Gemini app built just for education.

• Teachers can generate lesson plans, study guides, and personalized content.

• They can also create “Gems”: AI bots trained on class material to tutor students.

• Google Vids is rolling out to all edu accounts for AI-powered video creation.

• This is Google trying to make its AI the default homework assistant.

Cursor Launches Web App for Managing Coding Agents 💻

• Cursor just launched a browser app to manage AI coding agents.

• Assign tasks in natural language and track progress : no IDE needed.

• Works on desktop, mobile, and Slack via @Cursor tags.

• Cursor passed $500M ARR. Used by half the Fortune 500.

• Each agent gets a shareable link to view code changes and handoffs.
