Florida is investigating OpenAI after ChatGPT was allegedly used to help plan the FSU shooting.
The victim’s family says the model may have played a direct role in the attack and plans to sue.

Anthropic did not release Mythos publicly because it says the model is too good at finding software weaknesses.
Instead, it gave access only to big players like AWS and JPMorgan.
That sounds like a safety move, but it also helps Anthropic protect enterprise deals and limit copycats.
This is the real shift. The best AI models may no longer be public products. They may become private infrastructure.
Andy Jassy used Amazon’s shareholder letter to push one message. Amazon does not want to rely on Nvidia forever.
He says demand for Amazon’s Trainium chips is already so high that future supply is close to sold out.
Amazon is also pushing its own Graviton chips and spending $200 billion on infrastructure next year.
This is bigger than chips. Amazon is trying to own more of the AI stack from compute to cloud.
