AI Startups Are Making Millions Faster Than Ever.

What if your business could make $1 million in less than a year?

That’s exactly what today’s AI startups are achieving.

They’re breaking records and growing faster than any tech company before them.

Here’s what’s driving the boom:

  • Rapid revenue growth: AI startups are hitting $1M in revenue in just 11 months.

  • Speed to scale: Companies reaching $30M in revenue are doing so five times faster than previous tech firms.

  • Global demand: 56% of their revenue comes from international markets.

But it’s not all easy money.

While they’re making millions, they’re also spending billions on infrastructure.

  1. Can a BBC reporter's AI clone fool his colleagues?

Companies are being warned about the increasing use of AI to carry out so-called CEO Fraud.

More victims are coming forward with their stories of being targeted using generative AI techniques and one case in Hong Kong reportedly saw an AI clone used during a video meeting to trick staff into losing $25m.

But while some fear the rise of AI clones, companies, including Zoom, say we should be excited about a future where your clone can go to a meeting on your behalf.

Cyber correspondent Joe Tidy has had an AI clone of himself built by engineers at Fraia AI. Watch to see if he can fool his colleagues with it.

  1. Analysts Say Meta's Ambitions Make It a Top AI Pick

JPMorgan and Jefferies are backing Meta after its Connect event, where the tech giant unveiled exciting new AI features and metaverse products. Meta’s ambitious future is turning heads!

Jefferies analysts added that Meta's "proven ability to successfully scale & monetize new products" added to their confidence in Meta's "new AI future."

At the Meta Connect event, Meta revealed AI enhancements for WhatsApp, enabling real-time conversations and image editing. Notable features include voice interaction and the ability to analyse and provide instructions based on user-submitted images, enhancing user experience and creativity.

"We remain focused on building AI that benefits everyone, and we’re working with our board to ensure that we’re best positioned to succeed in our mission. The non-profit is core to our mission and will continue to exist," an OpenAI spokesperson said.

Nvidia, the generative AI favourite, has struggled to reclaim its June record high. Meanwhile, Goldman Sachs’ head of research, Jim Covello, is making waves as the firm’s resident AI sceptic, recently profiled by The New York Times.
